Won’t Get Fooled Again

Utterly despicable. Indefensible, goes way beyond regaining trust. People unable to mourn their loved ones. Rage. Garden as extension of office, technically within guidelines. Millions and millions of people who simply would not see it that way. Patronising crap, spectacularly misjudged. Smirking at breaches of the ministerial code. Breaking the laws set by his own government. Partying while the queen mourned alone. These people don’t give a fuck about anything, it fucking stinks. Police questioned by Sue Gray. Government literally above the law. Wait until the conclusion of another inquiry, government will certainly respond as appropriate. This has the stench of a major cover up. Met police compromised. Untenable. All the misjudgements that may have been made, that were made, on my watch. Well, that apology was pretty worthless.

Will the PM do the honourable thing for the sake of public health messaging and standards in our democracy? Will he heck. Tory benches almost silent — MPs can’t be seen by leadership opposing, can’t be seen by constituents supporting. Enough’s enough, I’m making a stand. Erring, moralising Tories always have their eyes on the prize, right, they haven’t suddenly had a change of heart, an outbreak of conscience. It’s always and only strategy and electoral viability. As long as we’re in charge, we’ll look after our own, we being this horrible deranged cult of money, being in power and nothing else, moral vacuum and all the rest of it. The Prime Minister genuinely doesn’t think he’s done anything wrong. He tells his people, behind closed doors, sometimes we take the credit for things we don’t deserve and this time we’re taking hits for something we don’t deserve. Surely we were working harder than anyone. I mean, we must have been, right? Look at the prestige of our offices and job titles! Mingling with hundreds of staff in the Covid war room offices. Retrofit the actual work. Say anything to save yourself. It doesn’t matter what you do, as long as you can make them believe you’ve done.

So he fucks off to Ukraine to hide from his people, his mess. Off playing diplomat, says it all about the man. Russia says British diplomacy is worthless. Liz Truss is in Moscow fronting up to the invasion, Putin must be quaking in his boots. This time shall we go to war in the Metaverse? The outcome of shit culture dictated by monopoly, that is, unless one’s ideal of society is a race of neatly analyzed, hard-working ciphers (1). 99% of the world population takes a pay cut while the incomes of the top 10 richest men grow by $1 billion a day since March 2020. A one-off windfall tax on 99% of their Covid wealth gains would leave them still billions richer than pre-pandemic, could pay for enough jabs to vaccinate the entire world and provide resources to tackle climate change, provide universal healthcare and social protection, and address gender-based violence in 80 countries (2). The writing’s on the wall, for all the world. Time for the truth. Things were always this corrupt, we can just see it now thanks to the internet, or, we’re getting more of this cocky, slash and burn, trash the place corruption because of the looming threat of the end of humanity? Clearly in terminal decline. Also, no end in sight. Only exclusive digital collectables — Ready to own a piece of my digital legacy?
